A decorated, flat bronze axe (Coles' type Bb) from Lhanbryde (village centred NJ 273 611) is in RMS (NMAS) (Acc No: DA 72).
Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1904; I C Walker 1964; J M Coles 1971; I C Walker 1974.
(Decorated variant of Migdale type). Single find. Flat axe, green, badly corroded, butt and cutting edge incomplete, most of the decoration gone; length 117 mm, butt 23 mm, cutting edge 57 mm, weight 260 gms. NMA (DA 72).
