Original description

[One of] X.2009.76.1-2 = X.GT 1361-1362. X.2009.76.1 = X.GT 1361 = Prehistoric Pottery sherd, probably from a flat base with internal fingertipped surface; 61 x 51 x 17mm. X.2009.76.2 = X.GT 1362 = Prehistoric Pottery sherd, absence of curvature suggests possibly from a base with remains of internal fingertipped cordons (possibly in a cross); 48 x 50 x 16mm. From an unidentified site on North Uist reported by [Mrs] Horrocks – accompanied by some colour prints showing an excavation trench of sorts. Accompanying note in Joanna Close-Brooks handwriting states: ‘Horrocks? Brought in August ’76 too DVC – more said to be coming’.
