Archaeology Notes

HU43NW 14 c. 43 38. A silver Viking brooch of the 10th century, found somewhere on the hill above Gulberwick, now in the Shetland (Accession No. ARC 6622) Acc Reg Shetland Museum; J M Corrie 1932. No further information. Visited by OS (AA) 29th May 1968. The brooch noted under HU44NW 14 is almost certainly the brooch from Gulberwick. Information from RCAHMS (PM) 24 May 2004
