HU46NE 8 c. 488 662.
A polished stone axe found by a Mr. Rendall, near Kirkabister, Vidlin, (ARC 6585).
Acc Reg Shetland Museum.
The axe was found by Mr. H. Rendall, now deceased whilst cutting peats, a number of years ago. (Mrs M J Georgeson, Northlee, Kirkabister, Nesting). The area of the peat cutting was indicated at HU 488 662, but the exact find spot could not be ascertained.
