Original description

VIKING PERIOD. [IL 159] Part of buckle of brass, found near Chapel of St Donnan. KJD notes, Registration data reads '1878, 1882'. [MOS information, JAS, 7.10.98]. Q08: Kildonnan bucket mount fragments and sheet bindings (IL 159). One strip of sheet binding, which has a shadow mark showing where it had been attached to the circular mount. [IL 159 B].
