Original description

[Twelve] Sherds of late or post-medieval pottery found by the donor in peats cut from banks at Swordale, Point, Lewis NB 5038 3028. Sherds probably from a globular vessel with a straight neck (crogan?); ceramic, coarse gritty; plain; fragmentary; 12; largest sherd 40 x 37mm; found by the donor in peats cut from banks at Swordale, Point, Lewis; NB 5038 3028; late or post-medieval?.
