Original description
Material recovered from the sand dunes at Ardnave, Islay from the vicinity of the excavations carried out in 1979 - 1980. Four tiny fragments of corroded copper alloy. NMAS Conservation Lab No 5635 (no work undertaken). Dimensions: largest 8 mm x 6 mm. From the excavations ?, but not referred to in published report: bag marked Ardnave 1980 / 136. Ritchie, J N G, and Welfare, H G; PSAS, 113 (1983), pp 302 - 366.
