Original description
Material recovered from the sand dunes at Ardnave, Islay from the vicinity of the excavations carried out in 1979 - 1980. Four body sherds; reddish or grey surfaces, dark grey cores; all with profuse organic tempering; undecorated; abraded. Dimensions: largest 47 x 30 mm. Ritchie, J N G, and Welfare, H G; PSAS, 113 (1983), pp 302 - 366; not referred to in report.
