Original description
The finds from excavations at Ardnave, Islay carried out in 1979 - 80 under the direction of Dr J N G Ritchie and Mr H G Welfare. Flaked stone. Retouched pieces. White; corticated; lightly patinated; broken; base removed; triangular plan with straight sides and slight projections on either sides of the snap; long shallow bifacial retouch along the two complete sides; 18:18:05; l 64; r 60; broken barbed and tanged point.
