Original description

The finds from excavations at Ardnave, Islay carried out in 1979 - 80 under the direction of Dr J N G Ritchie and Mr H G Welfare. Flaked stone. Retouched pieces. Secondary flake; white/grey; corticated; stained; very slightly patinated upon the ventral surface; broken; centre distal tip removed; diffuse bulb; hinge fracture; irregular shape; small coarse irregular edge retouch along straight right side and right distal; macroscopic edge damage on both surfaces of left distal; 43:42:12; l 67; r 49; d 45; miscellaneous retouched piece, possibly unfinished.
