Original description
The finds from excavations at Ardnave, Islay carried out in 1979 - 80 under the direction of Dr J N G Ritchie and Mr H G Welfare. Pottery. Five tiny fragments of similar fabric [to HRB 23], one the neck of an everted rim, were found within the old ground surface associated with Hearth 2, near antler deposit 3 and one was directly associated with the deposit.
