Original description
The finds from excavations at Ardnave, Islay carried out in 1979 - 80 under the direction of Dr J N G Ritchie and Mr H G Welfare. Pottery. Two rimsherds, the angle uncertain but probably with a shallow internal bevel; apparently undecorated; broken along a building ring. Fairly hard moderately gritted dark grey fabric, with fine slip outside, pink-buff on one sherd. Unstratified. Ritchie, J N G, and Welfare, H G; PSAS, 113 (1983), pp 302 - 366, figs 8 -10.
