Original description
The finds from excavations at Ardnave, Islay carried out in 1979 - 80 under the direction of Dr J N G Ritchie and Mr H G Welfare. Pottery. Five small wall sherds all probably from the same pot and possibly from 18a [HRB 15.1]; one sherd has a slight shoulder; all are decorated with deep but short impressions, probably of shell-edges, arranged in herringbone.
