COLLECTIONS FROM REFUSE-HEAPS, &c. From a kitchen midden at Baleshere, North Uist:- Large triangular block of cetacean bone, 6 1/2" thick, having two deep circular depressions on the upper surface, probably produced by the action of a pivot.
