Original description
IMPLEMENTS OF ROUGHLY CHIPPED STONE OTHER THAN FLINT. Flat, oblong, of sandstone, pointed at both ends, imperfect, 9 x 4 in. From Shetland. JAS notes: Original entry in 1892 catalogue covering AC 1-11 ends be mentioning as provenances the following: "From near the underground structure of safester and Houland, sandsting and walls, and at Braefield, Dunrossness", but presumably the items in question are between 6 and 11 (as other provenances are listed fo 1-5).
