- Description
- Box of 87 Iron Age potsherds, including rim sherds, wall sherds & base sherds of bucket-shaped vessels. Sherds include typical Iron Age flat rims and bases. The body clay itself is a hard-fired, coarse, gritty grey-buff ware, with large angular stone grits as temper. One rim sherd is flat and slightly turned out, forming an internal bevel.
