Hunterian Museum Object 104823: GLAHM:B.1914.553 - ARROW-HEAD, Brough of Birsay, Birsay, Orkney

Description

Description
two leaf-shaped flint arrow-heads. Conventionally associated with the Neolithic and earlier Bronze Age, these two flint arrowheads are unusual finds to have been recovered on the Brough of Birsay, which is conventionally understood to have been occupied between the 6th and 12th Centuries AD. Another site nearby may therefore be indicated.
