NN 903 177 Found beside the River Earn during the course of the finder's work as a river bailiff. The quern is composed of very weathered felsite. It is oblong in shape with one end slightly bulbous and the other more regular and squared-off. It has a smooth, slightly concave upper surface consistent with use as a saddle quern. Length 430mm; width 250mm; height 100mm. Allocated to Perth Museum and Art Gallery. Acc. no. 1999.384.
