Archaeology Notes

NT67NW 5 c. 63 77. Presented to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) by J B Mason, FSA Scot 10th January 1927:- Cylindrical Axe-like object of Stone, of D-shaped section, ground at one end to a sharp edge and broken off obliquely at the other end; it measures 2 3/4 inches by 1 7/8 inch by 5/8 inch, and was found by the donor at Hedderwick near Dunbar. Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1927 No further information was found. Visited by OS (WDJ) 12 November 1962 Accession No. BM 1. (Undated) information in NMRS.
