Archaeology Notes

NT24SW 37 249 403. A polished felstone axe, 8" x 2 3/4" from Castlehill, Peeblesshire, was purchased for the NMAS in 1884 (Acc No: AF 252). Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1884; NMAS 1892 The Castlehill is centred on NT 2499 4039. No further information. Visited by OS (EGC) 1 March 1962
