Archaeology Notes
NT27SW 15 c. 233 722.
A cist (see plan in Coles 1906) containing fragments of a food vessel was found in North Merchiston Cemetery on 24th August 1904. Its site is almost the highest piece of ground in the cemetery, 204' OD, between graves nos. 153 and 222 in the cemetery plan-book, and 70' NW of the wall bounding Slateford Road. The food vessel fragments were donated to the NMAS. (Acc. No. EE 95)
