A broken, Group VI (P R Ritchie and J G Scott 1981) stone axe, measuring 4 1/2 by 2 1/2 ins, 'found near Graham's Dyke, Falkirk' was donated to the Smith Institute, Stirling by L J Platt, Stirling (Acc No: A 1396) (Antonine Wall: nearest Falkirk at NS 88 79). (Group VI comprises objects of epidotized intermediate tuff of the Borrowdale Volcanic Series from the Great Langdale and Scafell areas of Cumbria).
