Archaeology Notes
NS36NE 16 366 690.
An Early Bronze Age lop-sided arrowhead was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) in 1947 by Miss C M Mullins (Acc. No: AD 2246). It had been found many years previously by her grandfather near the Knaps, Killellan, Kilmacolm (Knaps: NS 366 690). It is of dark grey-brown flint becoming paler towards the tip, and measures 2.55ins in length, including a single barb almost 1in long.
