NO12SW 39 c. 11 23 A bronze flanged axe (Coles Class II, Haddington Group) found in the neighbourhood of Perth, is in the RMS (Acc. No. DC 113) J M Coles 1966. (Palstave of primary shield pattern; formerly classified as flanged, bronze axe). Single find from "near Perth". - Palstave, smooth, brown, slightly undercut stop, blade hammered; length 165mm, butt 21mm, stop-height 8mm, cutting edge 71mm, weight 460gms. P K Schmidt and C B Burgess 1981.
