Archaeology Notes

NO64NW 14 6460 4915. (NO 6460 4915 - information from NMAS 6" record sheet). A beaker 7" high with convex neck and decorated with zones of serrated impressions, found about 1949 in a sandpit at Bandoch, was purchased for the NMAS. Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1954 Beaker as descrbed; no cists found, but apparently remains of other pits. Purchased from J Morgan, 5 Windyedge, Forfar, in 1952 (Acc No: EG 94).
