A decorated bronze flat axe, with very slight flanges (Coles' type Bc) from Stracathro, is in Montrose Museum (Acc No: 64).

(Flat axe of Bandon type). Single find. Flat axe with slight raised sides, somewhat corroded, patina brown, decoration very faint. Length 126mm, butt 25mm, cutting edge 55mm, weight 230 gms. Montrose Museum (64).
