(NO 5052 5872) Cinerary Urn found AD 1951 (NAT)

(NO 5053 5871) Inverted urn with calcined bones upon sandstone slab - found by farmworkers on 2 June 1951 during ploughing operations. The site is a circular knoll - once planted - and the urn was found c.20' north of the centre of the mound, which was excavated by Wainwright and D B Taylor.
