A battle-axe, found in the neighbourhood of Perth, is in RMS (Acc. No. AH 170)

This grooved battle-axe is of Intermediate-Developed form. It has been petrologically attributed to group XXVIII (quartz dolerite from various sources in Scotland and northern England) or group XVIII (quartz dolerite, probably from the Whin Sill of Northumberland).
