Archaeology Notes

NM52NW 7 c. 5297 2504. A barbed and tanged arrowhead from Glen Leidle, Mull was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland [NMAS] in 1967 by R Douglass, Mull. Proc Soc Antiq Scot 1969. This flint arrowhead, 1.1" long, is in the NMAS - (Acc. No. AD 2334) Information from OS (I F) 20 March 1972. Found by Mr Douglass (Aros House, Salen) in 1966 while planting. He indicated the approximate find spot at NM 5297 2504. Visited by OS (D W R) 6 May 1972.
