X.2009.13.10 = FRA 5532. Globular glass bead fragment. Translucent blue-green core capped with trails of opaque white and a cable of yellow and blue-green glass. Mason Collection, Newstead. Width 17 mm, height 18.5 mm . One of eleven additional glass beads which formed part of the Mason collection (X.1989.1), but had been passed on to Walter Elliot & came to NMS within the Elliot Collection (X.2009.12). All are from Newstead, and were collected by James and Walter Mason in field-walking the site over many years.
