Original description

Copper alloy circular domed stud, Newstead. A raised lip and internal hollow surround a shallow dome. Surface corrosion obscures details. Stud diameter 13 mm. A square-sectioned shank extends some 4.5 mm to the rear. Previously numbered as part of general collection of miscellaneous copper alloy, X.FRA 1014.
