Original description
Fragmentary copper alloy spiral ear-ring, Newstead. Spiral of circular-sectioned wire, snapped off after three coils. Spiral diameter 15-16 mm; wire diameter 2 mm. Allason-Jones type 9. Reference: Allason-Jones 1989 "Ear-Rings in Roman Britain", Oxford: BAR 201, pp 107, no. 388. Previously numbered as part of general collection of miscellaneous copper alloy, X.FRA 1014.
