Original description
Gold penannular ear-ring, Newstead. One blunt end, one tapered. 12 mm hoop diameter, wire thickness 1.25 mm. Allason-Jones type 1. (See Analytical Report 95/17). Reference: Allason-Jones 1989 "Ear-Rings in Roman Britain", Oxford: BAR 201, pp 106-7, no. 386. Previously numbered as part of general collection of miscellaneous copper alloy, X.FRA 1014.
