Gaming piece. ORF: Object Name: Gaming piece. Description: Gaming piece which would have originally been hemispherical with a flattened base and a cylindrical socket to hold a pin or peg. Material: Shale. Condition: Good. Dimensions: 12 mm H x 26 mm D. Date Made: Iron Age / Early Historic. Asssociated Places: Found during an excavation at Dundonald Castle, Ayrshire. Registered By: Jackie Moran. Date Completed: April 2002.
