[One of] Grave goods from cemetery at Barns Farm: - from Cist 5: - [One of] 2 jet spacer plates. A.S. note, 22.1.99: spacer plates from bracelet or child-sized necklace. Trevor Cowie notes, 20 February 2014: Description after Watkins 1982: jet spacer-plate (FRN 113b; NMAS EQ 913; fig 18.113b) a kite-shaped plate of well-polished, hard jet, 33 mm long, with four parallel borings. The ends of the holes have heavy saucering, particularly on the innermost boring (at the narrow end). For further discussion see Watkins 1982
