Original description
MEDIEVAL POTTERY. From the excavation of the Roman fort at Mumrills, Stirlingshire in 1929 (PSAS. LXIII, 400) - some associated with a kiln in the NW corner of the fort. Wall sherd including basal angle, similar ware [grey ware], spots of worn glaze outside. 102 - 105 found 6 ft. deep in Roman ditch and when laying electric cable across track near boot factory.
