Original description

MEDIEVAL POTTERY. From the excavation of the Roman fort at Mumrills, Stirlingshire in 1929 (PSAS. LXIII, 400) - some associated with a kiln in the NW corner of the fort. Bowls, glazed inside, mainly unglazed outside. Part of base and wall of open dish with foot-ring, red gritty ware, mottled blue-green glaze; possibly of later date.
