MEDIEVAL POTTERY. From the excavation of the Roman fort at Mumrills, Stirlingshire in 1929 (PSAS. LXIII, 400) - some associated with a kiln in the NW corner of the fort. Sherds from Jugs. Bases. Restored lower half of jug with gently expanding walls; grey ware, dark inside, pink outside, thin green-brown glaze; has dark mark made during firing.
