Original description
MEDIEVAL POTTERY. From the excavation of the Roman fort at Mumrills, Stirlingshire in 1929 (PSAS. LXIII, 400) - some associated with a kiln in the NW corner of the fort. Sherds from Jugs. Sherds with a band of combed waves on the shoulder: - wave-band 1" deep, ridged below and above, grey ware, sparse green glaze.
