Original description

The finds from a Bronze Age cairn at Limefield, Lanarkshire (RCAHMS 1978, Inventory no 77) excavated in 1966 - 67 by A MacLaren. Flint and Chert. Chert flake found with scraper EQ 895: inner flake of dark grey-blue chert with brown mottled patches; heavily patinated; triangular section; probably utilised. Length 35 mm; maximum width 14 mm; thickness 6 mm. MacLaren, A; in, Between and Beyond the Walls, 1984, pp 97 - 116, fig 6.7.
