Original description

The finds from a Bronze Age cairn at Limefield, Lanarkshire (RCAHMS 1978, Inventory no 77) excavated in 1966 - 67 by A MacLaren. Flint and Chert. End scraper of dark grey-blue chert, with mottled brown markings, found with chert flake EQ 896 in the surface layer of cairn material in the SW quadrant. Inner flake; heavily patinated; broken; proximal segment surviving. Steep edge retouch round distal (83[degrees]). Length 33 mm, maximum width 25 mm; maximum thickness 9 mm.
