Original description

The finds from a Bronze Age cairn at Limefield, Lanarkshire (RCAHMS 1978, Inventory no 77) excavated in 1966 - 67 by A MacLaren. Pottery. Decorated body sherd from 'cist' 4, wall thickness 8 mm. Outer and inner surfaces fairly smooth orange-brown; core black. Similar fabric to EQ 880. Traces of at least five parallel horizontal grooves, lightly incised.
