Mortaria waster / flange / rim / sherd. Ceramic; brown fabric and black core, brown black surface; black substance on surface. Moulded, fired; hooked flange, rounded rim, groove on outer wall of flange above rim, deep groove on outer wall at inner rim; abraded, fire distorted discoloured and blackened, black melted substance on outer wall of flange
