Original description

VIKING PERIOD. Double edged sword, measuring over all 2'1/2", imperfect at the point, with trilobed pommel and recurved guards, found on the left bank of the Mein at lower end of Annan District Waterworks. Anon notes, 'Label is marked IL 346'.
