Original description
SCULPTURED MONUMENTS, CROSSES, &C. Slate coverstone of a short cist, hexagonal, 31.5 x 26.5", mostly about 3.3" thick. Through the middle of the slab is an hour-glass perforation, max. diam. 4.5", min. diam. 1.3". Fourn on Redbrae Farm, Wigtown.
