Original description

Finds from the excavations at Mumrills, near Falkirk, Stirlingshire, in 1923-28 (P.S.A.S. LXIII, 503-66). Bronze (p. 553). Pennanular brooch, knob terminals with mouldings, also remains of pin, in four pieces (fig. 115, 6). [One of four pieces numbered FRB 392, 392.1, 392.2 & 392.3]. (392.1) Richmond penannular type, brooch terminal; bronze; green patina; curved, circular; cast; beaded end with ridge on rib itself before bead; abraded. (392.2) Richmond penannular type, brooch terminal; bronze; green light blue patina; curved, circular; cast; beaded end with ridge on rib itself before bead; abraded. (392.3) Richmond penannular type, brooch pin; bronze; green patina; circular, rolled; cast; bronze strip with two ribs at outside; abraded.
