Original description
NEWSTEAD COLLECTION. Upper quernstone of rather coarse-grained buff quartzite, diam. 11.7" raised rim to the hopper, perforated for the handle between the upper surface and side; a third of the upper surface decorated with deeply pecked grooves, a radial groove on each side of the perforation connected by two concentric grooves to a pair of radial grooves.
