Original description
NEWSTEAD COLLECTION. Upper stone of beehive quern of grey granite (damaged), diam. est, 12 x 10.5", height 4.75", hemispherica. hopper 2" deep with hole then only 0.7" across; side socket truncated by bse shows that stone was originally higher, but then reworked.
