NEWSTEAD COLLECTION. Two pairs of upper and lower quernstones of Niedermendig lava. "Roman Frontier Post", pp. 142, 145. Anon notes: 1641 - 16.5" diam. x 5.5" + 4.5" high = 1937.475. 1642- 16.5" x 4.8" + 3.3" high = 1937.476. Anon notes: Not all additional information by RMS taken from continuation catalogue.
