Original description
NEWSTEAD COLLECTION. Terminal of bronze, shield-shaped, with two bosses at the broader end of the shield. 1 3/8" long. [MoS description] Roman military equipment. Legionary. (4) Plate armour fittings, Newstead and Strageath. 80 - 180 AD.
